In psychology a flow state, also known colloquially as being in the zone, is the mental state in which a person performing some activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity. In essence, flow is characterized by the complete absorption in what one does, and a resulting transformation in one's sense of time.

this piece was created using the Fibonacci sequence which is a series of numbers that can be found in nature to form a perfect spiral or the segments of a pine cone. Here i have used them to dictate where a series of ripples will collide. the tension in the bronze as i shape the metal free hand acts like the surface of water as one stretched or shrinked area will affect the whole piece.

I then take a mold to create resin casting of the shape to paint by hand
