four years in the making, this series has evolved with my obsession with the theory of time dilation and the frame rate that our brains perceive the world around us.

In physics and relativity, time dilation is the difference in the elapsed time as measured by two clocks. It is either due to a relative velocity between them or to a difference in gravitational potential between their locations. When unspecified, "time dilation" usually refers to the effect due to velocity.

human brain's perceive the world between 30 and 60 frames per second. but other animals brains work at a much higher or slower rate. if you slow down a bird song it doesn't sound slower but more information appears between the Frames our brains perceive at normal speed. almost like the are living inside of a time we cant comprehend. is this time travel?

in high stress situations our brain speeds up our frame rate and focused its power to our senses. so time feels slower and we can react quicker. we also record these memories with much greater detail so we can learn more from them
